Hyster 130 Forklift – Indoor Stored & Runs Great!
This Hyster 130 has been with us here at Allan Dale for over 20 years. It’s lived its whole life indoors and only gets used a couple of times a week — maybe 30 minutes at a time — just to unload cargo trailers. It’s been well looked after, and you can tell.
The paint still looks great, the hoses and chains are in good shape, and it runs like a top — always starts right up, doesn’t burn oil, and no major leaks. It’s got a 13,000 lb lift capacity, a 4-speed transmission, and a 2-stage mast (60” wide x 11’ high) with 4' forks and additional 10' extensions. Pneumatic tires all around, and the front outer tires are brand new.
The owner absolutely loves this machine — actually, he’s got four of them, one in every store! The only reason we’re letting this one go is he wants to upgrade to a model with a cab.
Now, full transparency — it could use a bit of love from someone handy or with a mechanic on staff. The brakes need to be serviced, the emergency brake is seized from sitting, and the linkage came disconnected so it’s stuck in first gear right now. A few years back, we had the same brake issue fixed; it just needed to be taken apart and lubed. We figure it’s just from getting washed and then not relubicated.
Other than that, it’s been a great machine for us and never let us down. With a little attention, it’ll be ready to keep working for years to come.
