A gas-powered Class A motorhome tends to have a high-horsepower engine, helping them to tow approximately 5,000 lbs if you want. Some newer models can even tow up to 8,000 lbs! Gas engines in general are cold-resistant, making them great for chillier weather and higher elevations. They also have stellar turn ratios and anti-lock disc brakes, making them easier to drive and safer.
